Ritu Rani Pahwa is an advisor and investor in commercial real estate. She is the president of the International Real Estate Council’s Miami Chapter (FIABCI-USA). FIABCI was founded in Paris in 1951. She also served as the National Commercial Chair and National Board Member for the Asian Real Estate Association of America, known as AREAA in 2021. She has been on the Miami Board of AREAA for the last 4 years and served as the Commercial Chair for Miami for three of the four years. She is currently on the Advisory Board for AREAA.
Ritu is well versed overall in the commercial real estate field. She specializes in working with developers and investors on hospitality, multifamily and mixed-use existing and ground-up projects. She works closely with lenders and private equity groups that underwrite and fund projects and has access to private placement investment opportunities. She also works closely with the design and fit out teams that can take on procurement for projects that need renovations and deliver in record times for reduced costs. In addition, she works with her investors to enhance their returns through her technology partners that can streamline efficiencies in the hospitality and multifamily space.
She has previously held positions on the corporate side of hospitality and entertainment for the Walt Disney Company in Los Angeles, Kerzner International Resorts in Florida and Time Inc. in New York City. Ritu has lived in South Florida for the last 16 years and resides in Boca Raton. She earned her MBA in Global Marketing and Management from the University of Texas at Austin, and bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Tufts University in Boston, MA.
